Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)What kind of computer or other hardware do I need?
We recommend a high-speed connection to the internet (Cable, DSL, T1, etc), but a dial-up connection MAY work. You will need speakers to hear audio. Who will help me if I run into a technical problem or question? Every course has its own Coordinator who is your primary contact for questions or problems that involve the mechanics of taking your class. Your course Coordinator will contact you by email and/or phone to provide information essential to your course. The course instructor will be your main contact once class begins, your Coordinator is always available to answer any questions you may have. When do I take my exams? If you are taking a certification class there will be exams you will take to obtain your certification. Your instructor will advise during class the dates and times you should schedule your certification exams (if needed). .
When does my class meet? All one and two day classes will run from 9:00AM – 4:00PM EST with an hour break for lunch and a few short breaks in the morning and afternoon. Class times for boot camps are shown on the right. Times listed are United States Eastern Time Zone (Eastern Standard Time - EST, or Eastern Daylight Time - EDT) which is GMT - 5 hours. Please note that Lecture times may include labs to prepare for Certification exams. When can I register? We recommend you register early to ensure your seat in the class. If you are enrolling for a boot camp you will need time to study the course materials prior to the course. The better prepared you are for the course, the more you will get out of your class.
